Outreach
Services at KSD have evolved and have been provided through various means and
options for many years. As contained within the
AIR
report, "KSD is mandated by state law House Bill 237 (1998) to serve as a
statewide educational resource center on deafness. "
Therefore, Outreach
services have been developed to reflect identified needs across the state.
Most recently, this is evident with the development of regional sites and
collaborative agreements with
Special Education Cooperatives.
