The students in ASL/Deaf Studies have the opportunity to improve their receptive and expressive skills, doing the short stories/presentation utilizing the classifiers, hand shapes, and strategies. They also have to gain the knowledge of Deaf History throughout the school year.
Students will identify 9 types of ASL Grammatical Features.
Students will identify and perform construction techniques for a variety of projects.
Students will improve their ASL/English translation through variety of class activities - Idioms, sentences, and reading texts.
